Made in Mexico, raised in South Carolina, and now living out her beauty dreams in the Lowcountry, Ana Paula shares her passion for beautification with her lovely clients, collaborating with them to create timeless looks that reveal the best version of themselves.
A state-licensed cosmetologist, Ana founded her company, Charleston Chica LLC, after graduating from the College of Charleston with a degree in Arts and Cultural Management. She is a design enthusiast and curator of all things aesthetically pleasing!
She specializes in “natural” glam, tousled updos, glam waves, extension styling, and incorporating fun hair accessories and florals into customized hair designs that flatter from every angle. You can catch one of her hair designs on Season 3 of Bravo TV’s Southern Hospitality.
When Ana is not cleaning hair and makeup brushes or researching the latest beauty trends, she enjoys all that Charleston has to offer from its endless views, plethora of yoga classes, to its stunning art galleries downtown. She keeps busy freelancing as a florist, baker, and lead singer-creating music for her band, The Annies! In the evening, she loves going on long walks after delicious dinner dates, pretending to be a food critic with her partner and most riveting ghost tour guide in town, Adam!
